Sheridan Smith has branded Mike Thalassitis’s death a ‘massive wake-up call’ and has demanded change.

Love Island star Mike passed away aged 26, with reports that his body was found in a forest near his Essex home.

With tributes flooding in thick and fast, Cleaning Up actress Sheridan says we must learn from Mike’s tragic death, writing: ‘This should be a massive wake-up call, I feel sick, reach out, sometimes to the most confident friend. We can only learn and try to change.’

The 37-year-old also offered to try and help young people starting off in the entertainment industry in direct replies, adding on Twitter: ‘Anything I can do. I think we owe it to these kids who don’t know what they are getting into.’

I just can’t believe this! You’ll be missed so much you have no idea.’

Mike found fame in the Love Island villa in 2017 and a year later made an appearance on dating show Celebs Go Dating.
