It seems as though Sheridan Smith is ready to find love again after reportedly being spotted on a dating app.
The 41-year-old actress is said to have been seen on the celebrity platform Raya, which vets profile applications before accepting famous faces onto the platform.
Sheridan – who is about to take over the primary role in London’s theatrical version of Shirley Valentine – is supposedly putting herself back out there almost a year after parting ways with her ex Alex Lawler.
Reports claim she matched with her former fiancé and father to two-year-old son Billy, Jamie Horn, on Tinder, virtual dating isn’t a new feat for the blonde bombshell.
The Bafta winner swiped right on Jamie in 2018 and spent around three years with the insurance broker before calling it quits.
A source told The Sun of her latest dating endeavours: ‘Sheridan is going to be busy in rehearsals for her new stage show, so she hasn’t got time to be going out and trying to meet guys, swiping on an app and having quiet, intimate chats is much more suited to her lifestyle.
‘She’s taking a leaf out of Shirley’s book though, and looking at new adventures in 2023.’
The outlet also suggested her profile featured plenty of figure-hugging outfits and glamorous snaps and was set to the theme tune of Ed Sheeran’s hit Shivers.
Starring in the new West End musical, Sheridan is about to begin rehearsals for the 1986 comedy Shirley Valentine, which follows a middle-aged housewife as she strives to find excitement far from her dull spouse and children on a Grecian getaway.
The star recently updated fans on motherhood and her experiences with her little one, revealing the birth of her child offered her the chance to find ‘peace’.
She said: ‘Things used to seem so complicated and now everything is so simple.
