Actress Sheridan Smith has seemingly been dropping heavy hints that she is expecting a baby, most recently with comments made during a performance on a cruise ship.
The 38-year-old Gavin and Stacey star is thought to have let slip the comments while on musical theatre cruise Stages 2019, telling audiences she was expecting, and having to deal with morning sickness.
So is Sheridan due to hear the patter of tiny feet some time soon – and just who is her fiance Jamie Horn?

Is Sheridan Smith pregnant?
While she has been insinuating the pitter patter of tiny feet, Sheridan has not officially confirmed she is expecting a baby.
However she’s dropped very strong hints that she could indeed be pregnant, initially sparking rumours after referencing morning sickness on Instagram.
She took to social media to share a picture of her VIP passes for the cruise, saying: ‘About to set sail for four days, wish me luck with my morning sickness,’ sparking a wave of comments from fans asking if she was having a baby and congratulating her.
She reportedly referred to it again during a performance on board, allegedly telling the audience: ‘I’ve got a baby on board,’ and adding that she was suffering from the ‘morning sickness lark’ before explaining they had taken precautions if she needed to make a hasty exit to use the toilet.
‘I’ve got buckets in each wing and trainers so I can run,’ the Mirror states she told the crowd.
‘I’m very out of breath. I’ve got all these new symptoms, so sorry!’
Sheridan also recently referred to fiance Jamie Horn as ‘daddy cool’ in a video she shared to her Instagram story, which showed the two of them in their cabin on the cruise ship.
The actress has made no secret of her desire to become a parent, speaking about wanting kids after recently working with children in the West End production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
‘I can’t tell you how much I love the kids,’ she told The Mirror. ‘I am gonna miss them so much. They are all an utter joy and have made the whole experience for me.
‘I will cherish the memories and watch their careers flourish. Me and Jamie are now thinking of making me a mamma. All thanks to these amazing souls.’
Who is Sheridan Smith’s partner Jamie Horn?
Jamie – who is 10 years Sheridan’s junior at 28 – is an insurance broker.
The pair met when they both swiped right on Tinder, and have been together for 20 months, becoming engaged after just three months together.
However the actress was previously forced to deny claims that the pair of them were actually married, after they were spotted wearing bands on their wedding fingers.
She went on to explain on This Morning: ‘I do wear two bands on my hands, but mainly this one is too big and it does keep it on.
‘But Jamie does wear his wedding ring, we’re not actually married, we just do it. My friends do that but no one actually talks about it. ‘We didn’t think about it when we took a picture and put it on Twitter and then of course everyone thought that we were married.’
She’s also taken to social media to deny further rumours of the pair being wed after referring to Jamie as ‘hubby’.
‘Every time I call him my hubby people presume we are married,’ she explained, ‘it’s just a nickname & I’ll let u know when we decide to get married. I will want you all wearing hats please so here is me pouting with the ‘fella’.
What is Sheridan Smith doing at the moment?
After her stint on the cruise ship, the actress will be seen next in true crime drama The Barking Murders, based on the case of serial killer Stephen Port.
She was seen earlier this year in the ITV drama Cleaning Up, as a struggling, gambling-addicted single mum who discovered access to lucrative Stock Market information while working as an office cleaner.
She also lent her voice to the role of Wanda in animated movie The Queen’s Corgi, as well as appearing in the one-off BBC One drama Care.
